5 Ways to Help an Animal Rescue
when you don’t have time or resources to run your own rescue
I often thought that the only real way to help animals was by owning a rescue of my own. I envisioned myself building a facility on a small plot of land and being able to directly impact the lives of every animal I would come across. The sun would shine brightly on the vast sanctuary where every animal would feel loved and the rainbow and butterflies would absolutely grace the sky pouring love from above. A lil bit of heaven for sure!
Ok back to reality...what I discovered is that: 1) I don’t own a plot of land, 2) my current city dwelling isn’t large enough to house more than the animals I already own, and 3) Ummm...where are the funds to get this up and running? So, alas, owning a rescue is just not in the cards for me any time soon. Sad face.
Yet the tug in my heart to help keeps pulling me toward finding ways to help even though I don’t own a rescue. I’ve discovered ways that are simple and easy to do and give me the fulfillment that I am doing something for the greater good. So below I’ve created 5 Ways to Help Animal Rescues to give you some ideas.
This might be a good tip sheet for you if:
You want to help rescues and don’t know where to start
